As someone who is passionate about fitness and regularly uses my Peloton bike, I was excited to try out the Peloton Heart Rate Band.
I found the device to be incredibly comfortable to wear, with its stretchy knit fabric and grippy material that prevented it from slipping off my arm during workouts.
The Velcro fastener also made it easy to tighten and remove the band, and I appreciated the fact that it came in both small and large sizes to accommodate different users.
What really impressed me about the Peloton Heart Rate Band was its versatility.
The device uses Bluetooth to connect with any Peloton machine and display your heart rate on the screen. It also works with third-party gym equipment and apps in addition to Peloton’s own, which makes it incredibly versatile.
I was able to use the Peloton Heart Rate Band with the MYX II smart stationary bike, the NordicTrack Vault workout mirror, the Ergatta rowing machine, and the Tempo mobile app, among others. This means that no matter what type of workout I was doing, I could always track my heart rate and adjust my intensity level as needed.
During my testing, I found the Peloton Heart Rate Band to be incredibly accurate, providing consistent heart rate readings throughout my workouts. In fact, I noticed that the readings were consistently about 5 bpm lower than other devices I’ve used, which was actually a relief because it made me feel like I was working a little less hard than I thought!
The LED lights on the front of the band were also a great feature, providing real-time feedback on my heart rate zone during workouts. The lights corresponded to Peloton’s Strive Score metric, which helped me to track my progress and adjust my intensity level as needed.
One thing that really stood out to me about the Peloton Heart Rate Band was its ease of use.
To set up the device, all I had to do was plug it into the charger and place the pod on top to wake it up.
When all five LEDs on the band shone blue, I knew that it was fully charged and ready to use.
Once charged, I could easily snap the pod into the armband and fasten it around my forearm.
When I logged into my Peloton machine, the Heart Rate Band paired automatically, making it incredibly convenient to use.
In terms of battery life, the Peloton Heart Rate Band offered up to 10 hours of use on a single charge, which was more than enough for several workouts in between charges.
While this is not as long as some competitors, such as the Wahoo Tickr Fit, which promises 35 hours of battery life on a charge, it is still a respectable amount of time.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Peloton Heart Rate Band to anyone looking for a comfortable, accurate, and versatile heart rate monitor. Whether you’re a Peloton enthusiast or just looking for a reliable way to track your heart rate during workouts, this device is definitely worth considering.
With its LED lights, Strive Score metric, and compatibility with a wide range of devices, the Peloton Heart Rate Band is an excellent tool for tracking your progress and optimizing your workouts.
