In this review, I’ll share my personal experience with this product and give you all the details you need to know before making a purchase.
As someone who enjoys running, I found the Decathlon Running Bottle Belt and Number Holder to be an excellent product for 5K and 10K runs. It’s comfortable to wear and has space for your phone in the pocket and an inner waterproof pocket.
The water bottles are easy to wash and use, and the belt is reflective, so you can easily show your running number without using safety pins.
The Decathlon Running Bottle Belt and Number Holder are pretty good value for money.
The belt is very secure and holds everything you need for short to medium-distance run. However, it may take a couple of attempts to find the right position for the belt while running.
The bottles are easy to unhook while on the run, which is convenient.
For long training runs, the Decathlon Running Bottle Belt and Number Holder is handy to have. You can carry your gels, keys, and race number as well as two 250 mL running water bottles. However, it may not be suitable for everyone.
I found that adjusting the waist belt too tight made the belt slide up to the waist and jump around while loosening it made it jump on my hips.
This was my first experience of carrying water on a long run (14 miles), and while I was grateful for the water, the belt was very, very annoying.
It might suit a man’s build better. Women with smaller waists will struggle to keep the belt in place and not slide up/bounce around. For those with this problem, I would recommend investing in a hydration vest instead.
I had used Hydration Backpacks before but was blown away by the quality of this product. Never before have my long runs felt so effortless with a Hydration Pack.
I highly recommend this if you are looking for a Hydration Pack.
The Decathlon Running Bottle Belt and Number Holder is also great for long isolated walks. It has two water bottles and a handy zipped pocket for snacks on the go.
Overall, the Decathlon Running Bottle Belt and Number Holder is a great product for short to medium distance runs.
It’s comfortable, easy to use, and offers good value for money. However, if you have a smaller waist, you may struggle to keep the belt in place.
In that case, you might want to consider investing in a hydration vest.
